These terms apply when your company uses Flobid to request and compare quotes. Flobid is a business-to-business service: you use it on behalf of a company or other organisation, not as a consumer. The company that provides Flobid is named on this page under Company details.
1. What Flobid does
Flobid lets buyers describe what they need in a request for quotation (an RFQ), sends the request to suppliers that match its category and delivery country, and lets the buyer compare the quotes it receives.
Flobid is not a party to any agreement between you and a supplier. The order, delivery, payment and any warranty are agreed directly between you and the supplier you choose. Flobid does not guarantee that you receive quotes, the content of any quote or the performance of any supplier.
2. Price
Using Flobid as a buyer is free. You never pay to send requests, invite suppliers, compare quotes, write messages or choose a supplier.
3. Your account
- You must give correct information about yourself and your company and keep it up to date.
- The person who creates the account confirms that they may act for the company.
- Keep your sign-in details to yourself. You are responsible for what happens in your account.
- Your company decides who is a member of its organisation on Flobid and what role each member has.
4. Requests and messages
- A request must describe a real need for products or services that your company intends to buy.
- Do not publish requests or send messages that are unlawful, misleading, discriminatory, or that infringe someone else's rights.
- Do not use Flobid to collect supplier data for other purposes, to advertise, or to send unsolicited offers.
- Flobid may review requests before they are sent, ask you to change them, or decline to publish them. If we remove a request, we tell you why.
- You choose whether a request may also be listed without your company name on the public page of open requests.
5. What suppliers see
Before a supplier unlocks a request, it sees a summary without your company name. A supplier that unlocks the request sees the full request, attachments and your company name. Your e-mail address and phone number are shown to a supplier only after you have opened its quote or written to it. Your budget is never shown to suppliers.
6. Quotes and comparison
Quotes are written by the suppliers, and each supplier is responsible for its own quote. The comparison view and any suggested quote are based on the weights you set and are an aid, not a decision or a recommendation by Flobid.
7. Content you add
You keep the rights to what you upload. You give Flobid the right to store, process and show it to the suppliers your request is sent to, as far as needed to provide the service.
8. Availability and changes
We work to keep Flobid available but cannot promise that it is always free of errors or interruptions. We may develop and change the service. If we change these terms, the new version is published here with its effective date, and we show a notice in the app before it applies.
9. Liability
Flobid is provided free of charge to buyers. To the extent the law allows, Flobid is not liable for indirect loss, lost profit or loss caused by suppliers or other users. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
10. Ending your use
You can stop using Flobid and delete your account in the settings at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms. We tell you the reason, and you can ask us to review the decision through the contact page.
11. Personal data
How we handle personal data is described in the privacy policy.
12. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by Swedish law. Disputes are settled by a Swedish general court, with the district court for the place where the company providing Flobid has its registered office as first instance.
