These terms apply when your company uses Flobid as a supplier: to have a profile, receive matched requests, unlock requests and send quotes. Flobid is a business-to-business service, and these terms are also the terms and conditions under the EU Platform-to-Business Regulation (2019/1150). The company that provides Flobid is named on this page under Company details.
1. What Flobid does
Flobid sends buyers' requests for quotation to suppliers that match the category, delivery country and other requirements of each request, and lets suppliers answer with quotes. Flobid is not a party to any agreement between you and a buyer. The order, delivery, payment and warranty are agreed directly between you and the buyer.
2. Your profile
- You must give correct information about your company, its products and services, and keep it up to date.
- Profiles may be created from public company data before a supplier signs up. You can claim your profile and then control its content, or ask us to remove it.
- Verification and certificates are shown only after we have reviewed the documents you provide. Sustainability information is shown as your own statement, see section 3. Verification confirms the checks described on the verification page, not the quality of your products.
- Buyers can rate your company after a delivery they confirmed. A rating is published on your public profile at once, without the buyer's company name and with contact details in the comment masked. We can hide a rating that breaks these terms or the law, for example after a report. Your profile shows an average only when there is at least one rating.
3. Sustainability information and environmental claims
Buyers often choose suppliers because of their sustainability information, so it must be correct. Misleading environmental claims, often called greenwashing, are unlawful marketing.
- Everything your company states in the sustainability part of its profile is the company's own statement. This includes the share of renewable energy, ISO 14001, made in the EU, the EcoVadis rating, carbon reporting, Science Based Targets and the descriptions. Before saving, a person authorised by the company confirms that the statements are correct, complete and up to date, and that the company can support them with documents if a buyer or Flobid asks. We keep a record of who confirmed, when, and under which version of these terms.
- The statements are shown on your public profile on every plan, marked as your company's own statement with the date it was confirmed. Statements that Flobid has reviewed against documents are marked as reviewed. A review covers only the documents you gave us at that time. It is not a certification, and your company remains responsible for its statements. If you change a reviewed statement, the reviewed marking is removed until we have reviewed it again.
- Only state what applies to your company and to the products and services you offer through Flobid. Do not use general claims such as "green", "eco-friendly" or "climate neutral" unless you can prove them, do not present what the law requires of everyone as a special achievement of your company, and change or remove a statement as soon as it is no longer true, for example when a certificate expires.
- The rules that apply include the Swedish Marketing Practices Act (2008:486), which protects both businesses and consumers and forbids incorrect statements in marketing, including about the effect of a product on the environment: https://www.riksdagen.se/sv/dokument-lagar/dokument/_sfs-2008-486
- They also include Directive 2006/114/EC on misleading and comparative advertising, which protects businesses against misleading advertising by other businesses: https://eur-lex.europa.eu/eli/dir/2006/114/oj
- Where your statements also reach consumers, the Unfair Commercial Practices Directive 2005/29/EC applies, as amended by Directive (EU) 2024/825 on empowering consumers for the green transition, which applies from 27 September 2026: https://eur-lex.europa.eu/eli/dir/2024/825/oj
- The national laws of the countries where you sell also apply. The International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) gives guidance on environmental claims in its Advertising and Marketing Communications Code and its Framework for Responsible Environmental Marketing Communications: https://iccwbo.org/news-publications/policies-reports/icc-framework-for-responsible-environmental-marketing-communications/
Anyone who believes a statement on Flobid is misleading can report it to us with the Report button on the supplier's profile. Marketing can also be reported outside Flobid:
- In Sweden, anyone can report commercial advertising aimed at the Swedish market to the Swedish Advertising Ombudsman (Reklamombudsmannen), which reviews it against the ICC Code: https://reklamombudsmannen.org/en/complain/
- Marketing aimed at consumers in Sweden can be reported to the Swedish Consumer Agency (Konsumentverket): https://www.konsumentverket.se/
- A business affected by the marketing can bring an action before the Swedish Patent and Market Court: https://www.domstol.se/en/amnen/patent-och-marknad/marknadsforingsratt/tvist-om-marknadsforing
- In other European countries, the national advertising self-regulatory organisations in the European Advertising Standards Alliance (EASA) handle complaints: https://www.easa-alliance.org/
If we find, or are told, that a statement is incorrect or cannot be supported, we may ask your company for documents, hide the statement or the whole sustainability section, remove a reviewed marking, and restrict or suspend your profile under section 9, always with a statement of reasons. Your company is responsible for its statements and compensates Flobid for claims from third parties, and the costs of handling them, caused by statements that were incorrect when your company confirmed them.
4. Plans and prices
Flobid has a free Basic plan and paid plans. The current prices, what each plan includes and the price of unlocking a request are shown on the pricing page. Prices are in euro and exclude VAT. VAT is charged according to the rules for business customers in the EU.
- Paid plans renew each month or year until you cancel. You can upgrade at once; a downgrade applies from the next period.
- Verified can be tried free for 14 days, once per organisation and only by an organisation that has never had a subscription. A card is collected when the trial starts, nothing is charged during the trial, and the plan then renews monthly unless you cancel before the trial ends. During the trial only 3 of the included unlocks can be used; the rest open when the paid plan starts.
- Included unlocks are used within their month and do not carry over.
- Payment is handled by our payment provider. Invoices and receipts are available in the billing section of the app.
5. Unlocking requests
- An unlock gives you the full request, attachments, the buyer's company name and the right to send a quote and messages. The buyer's e-mail address and phone number are shown once the buyer has opened your quote or written to you.
- At most five suppliers can unlock the same request. A supplier the buyer invited gets its own place in addition to the five.
- Money back: an unlock is returned automatically if Flobid removes the request as spam, duplicate or invalid, if the buyer cancels it within 48 hours, or if the buyer has not opened any quote within 14 days. A returned unlock comes back as an included unlock or as a deduction on your next invoice, never as a cash payment.
6. How requests are matched and suppliers ranked
The main parameters that decide which suppliers a request is sent to, and in which order suppliers are shown, are described on the ranking page, including the weight each parameter has. Your plan has a limited weight in matching, as stated there. Paid placement on a category page is always marked as an advertisement and does not affect matching.
7. Quotes and messages
- Quotes must be real offers that you are able to deliver.
- Do not share contact details in messages to get around how Flobid shows them, do not send unsolicited advertising, and do not publish anything unlawful or misleading.
- You are responsible for your quotes and for your agreements with buyers.
8. Content you add
You keep the rights to what you upload. You give Flobid the right to store, process and show it on Flobid and to buyers as far as needed to provide the service, including showing your public profile.
9. Restriction, suspension and termination
We may restrict, suspend or end your use of Flobid if you break these terms or the law, or if your account is used for fraud. Before or at the latest when a restriction or suspension takes effect, we give you a statement of reasons. If we end the agreement entirely, we give you at least 30 days' notice and the reasons, unless the law requires otherwise or you have repeatedly broken these terms. You can stop using Flobid and cancel paid plans at any time; a cancelled plan runs until the end of the paid period. If you turn off selling in Settings, your supplier profile is hidden from buyers at once, you get no new requests, and a paid plan ends at once without a refund for the rest of the period. Your profile data, quotes and invoices are kept, so you can start selling again later.
10. Complaints
You can complain about our decisions, technical problems or anything else concerning Flobid through the contact page (topic: complaint). We handle complaints free of charge, within a reasonable time, and tell you the outcome. You may also turn to mediation; we will name mediators on request in line with the Platform-to-Business Regulation.
11. Changes to these terms
We publish changes here with the date they take effect and show a notice in the app. Changes take effect at the earliest 15 days after the notice, unless the law requires a change sooner or the change only benefits you. If you do not accept a change, you can end the agreement before it takes effect.
12. Liability
To the extent the law allows, Flobid is not liable for indirect loss, lost profit, or loss caused by buyers or other users. Our total liability towards you is limited to what you have paid Flobid in the twelve months before the event that caused the loss. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
13. Personal data
How we handle personal data is described in the privacy policy.
14. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by Swedish law. Disputes are settled by a Swedish general court, with the district court for the place where the company providing Flobid has its registered office as first instance.
