Flobid is a European B2B platform for requests for quotation. Buyers describe what they need once, and the request goes to suppliers in the right category who deliver to the buyer's country. The quotes come back in the same structure, so price, lead time and terms can be compared side by side. Flobid focuses on packaging, printing, signage, displays, promotional products and related categories.

Buyers and suppliers across Europe, inside and outside the EU. Buyers state their delivery country in each request, and suppliers choose which countries they deliver to, so requests only reach suppliers who can deliver. The site is available in eleven languages: English, Swedish, Danish, Norwegian, Finnish, German, Polish, Spanish, Italian, French and Dutch.

The category must match, or a closely related one when there are few suppliers. Delivery country, response history, the buyer's requirements such as certificates, and verification also count. Each request has a limited number of places, so buyers get a manageable number of quotes, and buyers can invite suppliers they already know. The ranking page explains the weights in detail.

No, a budget is optional and is used only to place the request in a value band (for example under €1,000 or €1,000 to 5,000), which decides the unlock price for suppliers. Suppliers never see your amount, so their quotes are based on your specification and not on your budget.

Up to five suppliers can unlock and answer the same request, plus suppliers you invite yourself, who always get their own place. How many answer depends on the category, your delivery country and the deadline you set. A clear request with quantity, specification, delivery address and date gets the most precise quotes.

Quotes arrive in the same structure, so the comparison shows price, total including delivery, lead time, terms and certificates side by side. You can weight what matters most to you, and Flobid suggests a supplier based on your weights. The suggestion is never a decision: you choose, and you can download the comparison as a PDF to share internally.

Create a free supplier profile, choose the categories you work in and the countries you deliver to. Requests that match arrive in your inbox with a preview of the category, delivery country, value band, deadline and places left. You decide which ones to unlock and answer, and you can also be invited directly by buyers who already know you.

You pay to unlock a request you want to answer. An unlock gives you the full request with attachments and the buyer's company name, and the right to send a quote. The price depends on the value band of the request. Paid plans include a number of unlocks per month, a discount on the rest and a fuller company profile.

Every request is checked, and requests that are spam, duplicates or invalid are removed. If that happens after you unlocked it, the unlock is refunded automatically. The same applies if the buyer cancels within 48 hours or has not opened any quote within 14 days.

Open the profile and choose "Is this your company?". If you sign up with an email address on the company's own domain, you take over the profile at once. Otherwise Flobid checks the claim, for example against the company register, before you get access. After that you can complete the profile and choose your categories.

Yes, the Basic profile is free and shows your company name, country, categories and a short text in the directory. You receive matching requests, see the summaries for free and pay only for the requests you unlock. Paid plans add included unlocks, a discount on the rest and a fuller profile with logo, contact details and badges.

You can turn off selling in Settings at any time. Your supplier profile is hidden from buyers at once and you get no new requests. A paid plan ends at once and the rest of the period is not refunded. Your profile details, quotes and invoices are kept, so you can start selling again later.

Yes, buyers never pay, whether they send one request or many. That includes the quote comparison, messages with suppliers, the supplier directory and accounts for the whole purchasing team. Suppliers pay for the requests they choose to answer.

The price of an unlock depends on the value band of the request and on your plan. Paid plans include a number of unlocks each month and give a discount on further unlocks. The full price table is on the pricing page, and the unlock dialog always shows the exact price before you pay. A supplier invited by the buyer pays half the ordinary price.

The unlock is returned automatically if the request is removed as spam, duplicate or invalid, if the buyer cancels within 48 hours, or if the buyer has not opened any quote within 14 days. The refund is a credit on your next invoice or a returned unlock that you can use on another request. You do not need to ask for it.

Yes. Verified can be tried free for 14 days, once per organisation and only if the organisation has never had a subscription. You add a card when the trial starts, nothing is charged during the trial, and the plan renews monthly unless you cancel before the trial ends. During the trial you can use 3 of the included unlocks; the rest open when the paid plan starts.

The company's VAT number was checked against VIES, the European Commission's register of VAT numbers, and the registered name matched the company name on Flobid. It tells you the company is VAT-registered for trade within the EU. It does not on its own say anything about quality or certificates.

On top of the VAT check, Flobid has checked the company in its national company register and reviewed the documents it sent. The badge is shown on the profile only once that check is complete. The verification page lists exactly what is checked for each badge, so you know what the badge means and what it does not cover.

Yes, suppliers upload their certificates, such as FSC, PEFC or ISO 14001, and Flobid reviews the document before it is shown as valid on the profile. Certificates are shown on the profile together with their validity date. As a buyer you can also ask for specific certificates in your request, and suppliers that hold them are preferred in the matching.
